Sweeps have always been part of the skeletal system of many electronic disciplines (such as Synthwave, Retrowave, and Synthpop) but easily apply sounds from this vast array of audio textures to nearly any musical genre: House, Dubstep, Trance, even hip-hop and pop. The author is willing to bet they would sound captivating, properly mixed over a symphony orchestra.
Sounds were recorded at 4X quality (176.4 KHz) and only rendered to 44.1KHz at the end of production for the highest accuracy.
